Mao-T’ai
Very ancient Chinese brandy obtained from the city of the same name from fermented millet and wheat juices. It has got a very high proof (about 53°C) and it is normally drunk during the important occasions. Similar to Mao-T'ai is Fen Chiu produced in Shansi, always in China, the Ta Chu, produced in Szechwan and Wu Liang Yu, equally produced in Szchwan. All these brandies in China have got a common denomination: Paz' Chìu.
